VITEEE 2021 No syllabus Cut, and it could be held twice in 2022.

The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2021 syllabus will not be reduced. VIT Vellore's Director of Undergraduate Admissions, G. Kalaichelvan. Mr Kalaichelvan said in a recent interview that portions of the Class 12 syllabus that have been omitted by various boards are simple to learn and that students can attempt them by self-studying. “If you look at the IIT JEE syllabus, it hasn't been changed in any way. The explanation for this is that these sections are simple to learn,” Mr Kalaichelvan explained.

Though VIT has no plans to hold multiple entrance exam sessions in 2021, the institute will consider it next year. “We'll have to see how the situation develops. We can consider another attempt if we can keep VITEEE in April next year, as we usually do, but only after we review the possibilities and the paper. That is not in the cards right now,” he said. After the CBSE board exams, VITEEE 2021 is scheduled for June 18 to 26. “The exam is in June, and time is running out. As a result, there will be no more than one attempt this year,” he said.

No weightage to Class 12 marks: VIT will not offer Class 12 marks any weightage this year, as it did last year, and admissions will be based solely on VITEEE 2021 ratings, according to the admission director. Students who pass the entrance exam will be given ranks, and their admissions will be entirely determined by the merit list. Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the VITEEE was discontinued last year, and students were admitted to undergraduate programmes based on their Class 12 final exam results.
